St. Michael's Choir School will be ushering in the Advent season and Christmas spirit with a rousing and joyous musical celebration at large-scale venue Massey Hall on December 3 at 7:30 p.m. For the first time since 2017, this Toronto holiday tradition will be back at Massey Hall. The “Sing Noël” concert will feature over 280 voices ranging in age from 8 to 78 taking the stage. Students and alumni will perform a musically rich blend of both secular and sacred carols accompanied by special guests True North Brass.
The Alumni, Elementary, Junior, Senior and Tenor Bass Choirs will take the stage and present an array of seasonal favourites, including Carol of the Bells, Ding, Dong Merrily on High, Dashing Through the Snow, The First Nowell and O Come, All Ye Faithful. Additional repertoire will span centuries and continents and will include Personet Hodie, Veni, Veni Emmanuel and El noi de la Mare.
