The Stations of the Cross Schedule 2025
The Stations of the Cross
The Stations of the Cross are a 14-step Catholic devotion that commemorates Jesus Christ's last day on Earth as a man. The 14 devotions, or stations, focus on specific events of His last day, beginning with His condemnation. The stations are commonly used as a mini pilgrimage as the individual moves from station to station. At each station, the individual recalls and meditates on a specific event from Christ's last day. Specific prayers are recited, then the individual moves to the next station until all 14 are complete. CLICK HERE FOR FURTHER READING.

Meditations written by Fr. Calleja for each station below
THE FIRST STATION
PILATE CONDEMNS JESUS TO DIE
We may have been condemned or hurt by others for no fault of our own.
Let us give all those painful moments in our life over to the Lord.
THE SECOND STATION
JESUS ACCEPTS HIS CROSS
Let us remember those times when he had to carry our cross in the form
of sin, sickness, pain, worry, despair, loneliness, guilt, loss of loved
ones, financial problems and so on. As Jesus bore the cross with
patience, may we be patient in carrying our personal crosses and look
forward towards greater glory.
THE THIRD STATION
JESUS FALLS THE FIRST TIME
We offer those times when we fell into sin and moved away from God.
We trust that He will lift us up every time we fall.
THE FOURTH STATION
JESUS MEETS HIS BLESSED MOTHER
We continue to pray for our Heavenly Mother's powerful intercession.
Our Lady can intercede for us and obtain all graces we need in our lives
and for the needs of the world. May she be our comfort and strength
during this earthly journey.
THE FIFTH STATION
SIMON HELPS JESUS CARRY THE CROSS
When we were burdened with our own heavy crosses, Our Lord came to
us through others - it may have been our spouse, our parents, our
children, our friends, our pastor, or even a stranger. Jesus would never
abandon us. Let us thank Him for all those people He sent us who gave us hope.
THE SIXTH STATION
VERONICA WIPES THE FACE OF JESUS
We remember our family members and friends who comforted us during
the most painful times of our life; for all the times they comforted us and
brought back faith to our lives.
THE SEVENTH STATION
JESUS FALLS THE SECOND TIME
When we are tempted to fall into sin, let us surrender our hearts to the Lord
and be truly repentant and sorry.
THE EIGHTH STATION
JESUS MEETS THE WOMEN OF JERUSALEM
May we be compassionate and merciful to the people around us, and for the
people suffering in the world. As Jesus comforted the women of Jerusalem,
let us comfort on those in distress. And let our hearts reach out to those who
do not know our loving Saviour.
THE NINTH STATION
JESUS FALLS THE THIRD TIME
Let us make a firm resolution to never sin.
We pray that Our Lord will give us the strength to fight against temptations of Satan.
THE TENTH STATION
JESUS IS STRIPPED OF HIS GARMENTS
Surrender all those moments in your life which you wish had never happened
and want to forget forever. It may have been a moment of great
embarrassment or great shame. It may be a moment when somebody insulted
you or hurt you deeply. When Jesus was stripped of his clothes, he was
ashamed and hurt, but He bore every thing for our sins.
THE ELEVENTH STATION
JESUS IS NAILED TO THE CROSS
As our Blessed Lord endured unbearable pain while being nailed to the cross,
let us bear our own sorrows and burdens with patience and perseverance.
THE TWELFTH STATION
JESUS DIES ON THE CROSS
Let us die to sin and live for Him alone.
THE THIRTEENTH STATION
JESUS IS TAKEN DOWN FROM THE CROSS
Lord, you died for our sins and purchased for us the reward of eternal life.
May we always live this life with hope.
THE FOURTEENTH STATION
JESUS IS PLACED IN THE SEPULCHER
May we look forward to the Eternal Life that Jesus has offered us by giving
His own life as ransom. We pray for the grace of a happy death.
